Spinning course - beginners 4th February
Learn to spin using a spinning wheel

Free-forming with Yarn - course
Skill level: Basic knit or crochet skills.
Requirements: Large bag of assorted small balls of yarn (the ones in the stash that are too big to throw out and too wee to make anything with), assorted knitting pins(dpns ideal) and crochet hooks.
Project: Tea cosy or beanie hat.
Objective: Learn to create unique items using a variety of techniques and stitches,develop and explore ideas,shapes, colour and texture in the design.

Learn to Crochet course
Learn the basics of crochet and make your first article (hopefully) in a day.

Needle felting course
Learn to make 3-D articles such as figures, flowers and embellishments on this fun course using dry felting needles

Spinning course - intermediate
For those who have already mastered the basics of spinning using a spinning wheel. Learn different spinning and plying methods, carding with hand carders and drum carder, fibre blending and if time, some fancy spinning.
Fibre provided. Bring your own wheel if possible. Wheel may be available to hire on the day (please let us know if you will need one).

Spinning course - colour & fibre blending
This course will teach you to blend colours and fibres using hand carders and drum carder. Experiment with different combinations for a personal result.
10am - 4pm, bring your own lunch. Tea and coffee provided. Bring your own wheel, carders, lazy kate and niddy-noddy. Wheel may be available to hire on the day (please let us know if you will need one).

Drop spindle spinning course

A mixture of wet and needle felting. Start by making a purse or beret using a template then needlefelt decoration and embellishments. A good course to get the basics of this fun activity.
