Scottish Fibres' wooden Knitting Needles

The knitting needles supplied by Scottish Fibres are made entirely in the EU (by adult employees being paid acceptable wages) from the left over wood from the manufacture of musical instruments. Since musical instruments are made from high quality timber this ensures that the needle wood is of the same high standard and no additional trees are sacrificed for the production of our needles. The range of needles is unsurpassed in its variations with rosewood, ebony and beech as well as the more common bamboo and contains standard, double pointed, circular and the unique flexible needle range. Circular and flexible needles are manufactured using a cleverly designed non-snag connector between wood and flexible cord.
