Mawata caps - each
Silk mawata caps or bells made from silk cocoons, each have several layers which can be pulled apart to give even finer fibre. As all silk, these dye very well and can then be spun or used in papermaking and feltwork.
Weights vary, but approx 15g each

Dyed Silk Rovings - 50g
Beautiful colours of dyed silk in fine rovings or tops as shown. Available in shades listed. Only fairly small amounts of each colour available at any time and colours are added to (and go off) regularly. Numbers in brackets refer to the number of 50g balls available.
Tops are thicker strands than rovings, but the diameter of the silk remains very fine.
