Ashford Tekapo Yarn

100% pure New Zealand Corriedale yarn is a semi worsted yarn especially designed for softness and strength. The texture is lofty and top quality fibres have been chosen to give the yarn that special sheen associated with world class knitwear. The yarn will not pill so that your knitwear will stay looking great for a long time. However, this yarn will shrink for the current craft of knit-to-felt projects.
Needle size is 4 - 4.5mm with a tension of 20 stitches and 26 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch.
Ball of 100g. Buy 500g of the same colour and save money.

Banana silk yarn - 100g hank Banana Silk fiber yarn is made from the fiber of the banana tree. The fiber is refined, processed and skeined in Nepal by women.This beautiful yarn comes from a renewable, sustainable and environmentally-friendly source. It is very soft and has brilliant colours. Only the decaying outer layers of the trees (aged bark) are harvested and soaked under water to quicken the natural process. When all of the chlorophyll structures are dissolved, the cellulose fibers remain. They are extruded into pulp and to make it suitable for spinning into yarn. Shades currently available: These hanks are (probably) unrepeatable so please buy sufficient for your project. It is about aran weight thickness.
