|Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.|
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Maestro. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information securely via this site or via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet. Where an issue number is requested for a Maestro card and your card does not have one, enter 0 or 01. This should allow the transaction to continue.
|Shipping And Handling Goods will be sent by Royal Mail/ Royal Mail Parcels or another approved carrier. For non-UK orders goods will be sent by air unless specific alternative arrangements are made between Scottish Fibres and the customer. Due to higher carriage rates, the Channel Islands will be classified as overseas.|
Delivery charges are in line with Royal Mail prices. For multiple purchases or for smaller purchases in line with 2013 "small parcel" definition by Royal Mail, postal charge may be reduced manually by us. Carrier charges are also at cost price.
UK customers should notify Scottish Fibres of the non-arrival of goods within 10 days of the order placed.
Overseas customers should notify Scottish Fibres of the non-arrival of goods within 28 days of the order placed.
|Delivery Schedule We will normally despatch your order within 48 hours. Delivery of your order should be made to you in four business days ( UK mainland only) . International orders are generally received in under 14 days.|
Overseas shipping will be by air unless specific alternative arrangements are made between Scottish Fibres and the customer.
|Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed or telephoned with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait, receive a part order or an alternative item.|
|Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero . Channel Islands will not be charged VAT.|
|Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our PCI DSS compliant secure gateway. They are not held in clear text on any web site.|

|Returns Policy Scottish Fibres must be contacted prior to the return of all/any goods.|
Goods which are found to be defective on delivery must be notified to Scottish Fibres immediately. Customers will be instructed on return procedures and defective goods will be replaced by Scottish Fibres. Carriage will be paid/refunded by Scottish Fibres. Replacements and refunds will be made providing the goods returned are the subject of a manufacturing defect or have been damaged in transit. Refunds and replacements will not be made on goods which have been damaged by the customer whether by accident or incorrect usage.
Goods sent in error will be replaced or refunded by Scottish Fibres providing the original goods are returned intact and in good condition. Carriage will be paid/refunded by Scottish Fibres.
Goods ordered in error by the customer will be replaced at the discretion of Scottish Fibres and in any event will only be replaced if the original goods are returned in a saleable condition complete with all original packaging. The customer will be responsible for all carriage charges and Scottish Fibres reserve the right to make a rehandling charge of £5 or 20% of the retail value of the goods, whichever is the lower. Special items which have been specifically ordered from a manufacturer/manufacturer's agent or manufactured specially for a customer will only be replaced or refunded if either another customer can be found prior to the authorised return of the goods or if the supplier agrees to the return of the item to them. In this case any additional penalties/charges incurred by Scottish Fibres will be passed on to the customer.
Since Scottish Fibres cannot guarantee to match shades/colours of yarns and fibres returns of fibres/yarns, where the customer has underestimated the quantity ordered, returns and refunds will be made only at the discretion of Scottish Fibres.

All dealings with Scottish Fibres are subject to Scottish Law only.
